Here are pictures of the Karlsruhe Zoo and the Karlsruhe Vivarium, including some animals and the facilities. Zoologischer Garten Karlsruhe opened in 1865. It has 910 animals of 130 species on 9 hectares (22.5 acres). The Karlsruhe Vivarium (Vivarium im Museum für Naturkunde) opened in 1938 and has about 180 species. Over 1 million visitors enjoy the Zoo each year.
