Skiffs are small craft that are vital as basic transportation, whether to get to a larger boat, or as a fishing skiff to transport to a waiting beach for a clam digger, or to take him to clam or oyster beds where he can tong, or for a hand liner to catch some local fish. Their newer cousins, the jetskis are mostly used for pleasure, but can also be an important tool for anyone needed fast transportation.
